This haiku is the result of numerous news bites I have heard over the last several weeks regarding how the Vatican has only acknowledged the sex scandal within the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland. In a recent meeting with the Irish bishops, several proposals had been presented to the Pope for his approval of which he did not approve a single one. This has many congregations in Ireland rather upset. Sounds like the same thing that occurred in the USA several years ago. When will the Church finally admit there has been a problem and handle it to the faithful’s satisfaction.
